WHY I CREATE

I make jewelry to create my own tradition.

Living almost exactly a decade each in India and the United States, my work allows me to relieve the tension of this dichotomy inside me.

​

I want to explore my history through my experiences with the clash of India and USA.

​

I love working in silver because it has the powerful capacity to become a blank canvas for stories to come alive.

​

And I seek to allow the story to make the object more precious than the silver ever will.

​

I let my stories in my work help me discover my home.
