The Parivarthan locket necklace is inspired by the doors and windows in Mughal architecture in India. The patterns pierced out of the silver, as well as the patterns of the enamelled chain links are my interpretation of Arabic mehndi designs. The embroidery inside the locket is a motif from a hand printed illustritative style of textile art from Hyderabad, India called Kalamkari.
This necklace is 12 inches in length.
